Holy dolman sleeves, batwing! Get it? Well, you will after this week’s Style Glossary post on dolman sleeves! They’re making a comeback in a big way, and I couldn’t be happier. Dolman sleeves (aka batwing sleeves, a variation of the magyar sleeve) are defined as sleeves fitted at the wrist and cut with a deep armhole so that it somewhat resembles a cape from the back (think sugar glider). What you’ll most often behold on our site is a short version of the cut, as seen on our Double Chocolate Tunic.
It’s comfy, cute, and popular to boot! Do you have any dolman sleeves hanging in your well-established closet? How do you style them? Let me know! Thanks for reading, and happy shopping!

They have a lot of them at Urban Outfitters.
I have a green batwing top, and I love to pair it with a nice black pencil skirt and black heels.
I am in love with dolman sleeves. A top like that goes with skinny jeans and flats, or with a skirt and heels. Just be sure to go fitted on bottom if you’re going with something loose like this on top. Great trend!
I love dolmans! I like a good dolman sleeve shirt with a wide scoop/boatneck (kind of like in this photo). Then pair it with an awesome long eye-catching necklace.
