A Dream in the Making

With all the planning, coordinating, talent wrangling, and just plain doing it takes to create a stylebook, displaying the finished result on ModCloth’s homepage sometimes feels like nothing short of a miracle. And that’s when there’s just one collection!

This year, we decided to go big and celebrate the holidays with four thematically linked sets of looks to create a sensational story of seasonal style and fantasy! And what location could possibly be both unique and diverse enough to handle such a hefty task? Why, only the Madonna Inn resort of San Luis Obispo, California, of course.

Though the work was hard, all who were there can tell you how much fun it was, too! We hope you enjoy this behind-the-scenes look at the production of The Holiday of Your Dreams stylebooks as much as our team got a kick out of creating them.

This video is…incredible! The golden light was unexpected, and fantastic. It’s amazing to see that amount of work that went into staging the scenes and models for Stylebooks on ModCloth! Can’t wait to write about ModCloth tomorrow 🙂
