Thanks a million to everyone who entered! We’re thrilled to have such a funny, punny, and endlessly creative community. Congrats to our winners, and to all of our readers, stay tuned! There are always more marvelous contests just around the corner.

That’s right, Name It & Win It is back this fall, and the products are so good, you won’t be able to resist calling them something of your own creation.

We’ve curated a selection of eye-catching styles that require your creative brain to name them in the ModCloth way we all know and love! The plan is simple: starting tomorrow and continuing each day of this upcoming week, we’ll post a photo of an exciting item, and you’ll have until Sunday, October 9th to show off the most ingenious, elegant, or purely punny title you can orchestrate. The winner is awarded a gift certificate for the price of the item, the glory of seeing their name live on the site, and $10 towards shipping. Can’t wait to make up some monikers? Get all the info below!

Pencil these dates and destinations into your calendar, because this contest is one you won’t want to miss:

– Tuesday, October 4th on Instagram

– Wednesday, October 5th on our blog

– Thursday, October 6th on Twitter

– Friday, October 7th on Facebook

Before you start crafting names to live on in the ModCloth limelight, read over these important rules first:

  • Submit your entry using the following methods:
    • On Instagram, leave your entry as a comment on our ‘gram of the item.
      • For an extra chance to win, repost the image we share with #NIAWI @modcloth, and include your item name!
    • On the blog, leave your entry as a comment on Wednesday’s post of the item.
    • On Twitter, tweet your entry @modcloth and use the hashtag #NIAWI.
    • On Facebook, leave your entry as a reply comment on the image we post of the item.
    • The entry period for each item begins at 1:00 p.m. ET on each day the item is launched. The contest closes at 11:59 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 9th.
  • If you’re having trouble posting your idea, send your submissions to NIAWI@modcloth.com instead.
  • If multiple people submit the same name, only the first entry with that name will be considered.
  • You may submit as many names as you would like.
  • Name suggestions on this blog post do not count as entries. Please follow the entry process above.
  • This contest is open to all legal US residents and internationally where permitted by local laws.
    • Important note for international winners: customs and duties may apply, and will not be covered by NIAWI winnings.
  • Under 18? Check out our Official Contest Rules for some important deets!
  • A panel of ModCloth employees will pick each day’s winner. We’ll be looking for the submission that best fits the item at hand and reflects the spirit of ModCloth.
  • If our team of judges loves your name the most on more than one day of the contest, you could win more than once.
  • Each winner will receive a gift certificate for the cost of the item they named, plus $10 to cover the cost of shipping. Woohoo!
  • We’ll contact the day’s winner within a few days of the contest closing via the social platform you used to submit. We’ll also shout out our winners as an update to this blog post.
  • If you have questions, please see our legal info and Official Contest Rules.

Okay, you fashion-savvy name machines — get ready to show us the nature of your nomenclature. Best of luck!

About Savannah

If something's happening on stage, you can probably find Savannah there, from house shows and dramatic theater productions to faraway metal gigs and full-on festivals. Otherwise, she spends her days elbows-deep in carb-heavy meals, rattling about years spent overseas, and testing the creative limits of an all-black wardrobe.
