Come check out the Pumpkin Mousse I made.
Ooh, I just might have to add that to our “The Savory & The Sweet” board. Looks delicious and simple!
This is such a neat idea! There’s inspiration all around us. We did a couple of blog post on “fashion meets decor” and the possibilities were endless!
Does it have to be an actual recipe, or just a photo of a dish?
It’s preferable to link to a recipe that credits the original source. Thanks for asking, and have fun!
What a fantastic idea! Earlier this year I came across a fishbowl cake recipe on Pinterest that I knew would be perfect for my sister-in-law’s birthday cake. She loves anything to do with the ocean/water. So I made it for her and it was a big hit (I posted pictures of the two cakes that I made for her birthday on my Pinterest board). A few weeks ago I bought your “Luck Be a Lady Dress in Teal” dress for a wedding, and when I saw this blog post the fishbowl cake and this dress immediately came to mind! I added a couple of other accessories that I think would enhance the similarities between the dress and the cake. Here’s a link to my Pinterest board (the board cover photo is the original cake recipe): http://pinterest.com/melktarts/things-i-want-to-make/
Thanks for the creative exercise!
What a great idea! I’ve just done it ;).
What a fun contest! Can’t wait to pin some of my favorites for you guys. So glad you’re doing this, I just love the Kitchen section Mod Cloth has — the aprons are ADORABLE.
As you can see, I like me a good apron! http://myfeelingstastelikecupcakes.blogspot.com/2012/02/taking-on-martha-soft-chocolate-cake.html
Anna, those aprons are ADORABLE! Where’d you get them from?
Target! Valentines Day section earlier this year.
hope i did this right! always loved rainbow colored food!
Do they need to be on the same board? or can they be on different boards?
Hello! What a fun Pinterest contest! I have my pairs up! Do we need to leave a comment with a link to our Modcloth entries? Also, where do we find the official community rules? Thank you. :))
How do you ensure which fashion is supposed to be linked to the recipe if you are allowed to enter multiple times? 🙂
My pairs are here:
Done 🙂 Here is a link to my board http://pinterest.com/inkedforjesus/modcloth-contest-board/
Yeah who won? I didnt see any announcement post or pin…. and I realized that the hastag #styleserving doesnt bring up anything on Pinterest. So how will entries to be looked at in the first place? Should we have posted our link here? =/
We’re using a tracking application to pull the entries for the contest, and will be updating them today. Sorry for the lag, the winners will be posted soon!
Thank you some much! -Amy Singleterry-Saunders
