The Style Gallery is a great new way for you to view, love, and share outfit photos. It’s meant to showcase all the expressive, creative, and inspirational personalities of our community!
Just off Interstate 10 in southern California, you’ll find a roadside attraction that defines “roadside attractions.” On the second leg of our Summer in Focus road trip, we stopped to shoot at the world-famous Cabazon Dinosaurs. These unmissable dinosaurs were built by sculptor and portrait artist Claude Bell through the 1960s to 1980s, originally as a way to attract customer’s to Bell’s nearby cafe. Decades later, these prehistoric-inspired attractions remain a sightseeing favorite for those cruising through California. You may also recognize these dinos from PeeWee’s Big Adventure!
During the shoot, we got to meet ModCloth fan Rachel, whose family now owns and operates the Cabazon Dinosaurs.
Our Creative Team takes a break to snap a family portrait. As you can tell, we’re a very serious bunch.
Next stop, Palm Springs! Keep your sights on our site for the next chapter of our summer journey. See you soon!
