What’s the biggest goal on your bucket list?
I am musician/singer, and my biggest goal has always been to perform in front of a large audience. Last year, while on tour, I was fortunate enough to perform with my friend’s band at a music festival in LA — I sang (and tried my hand at dancing) in front of about 8,000 people. It felt incredible to do something I’d dreamt about forever, and I’m so thankful that I had the opportunity.
What, to you, makes for the perfect outfit?
The perfect outfit to me is whatever will make the person wearing it exude confidence all day, no matter how others may think they look. If you think you look good, you do! My favorite thing is when little kids dress themselves like superheroes or princesses and just casually walk down the street. No one should ever lose that kind of style confidence!
What are you passionate about?
I have two brothers who are 10 and 13 years old. Helping to shape their minds is probably one of my biggest passions. Being so far apart in age, I get to really watch them grow, and it’s incredibly important to me to help them make the right choices. And it’s a little easier because they think I’m cool! Haha! The best part of it, though, is the things they teach me along the way.
When you’re not on set, where might we find you?
Haha, SURFING! You can find me on a boat, on the Monongahela River right here in Pittsburgh wake surfing. All year round, too!
What have you learned from being a model?
This is a hard question to me. I never feel like a model! Not for any bad reason — I’m just me. But I think that modeling in general can teach anyone to believe in themselves. It’s so wonderful that companies are vowing to not Photoshop and [celebrating] the fact that models are all shapes and sizes. I think that beauty exists in everyone.
