If you’re like us, you don’t waste any time running over to the newsstand when the mass of shiny March issues start to trickle in. Sure, we want to unearth the freshest spring looks and must-buy-NOW runway trends, but this month, there was a special surprise waiting for us.

Inside the shiny pages of Marie Claire‘s packed March issue is a profile on our very own co-founder, Susan Koger. In the story, she talks about some of the first vintage pieces she went digging for (she once scored an orange wool coat for 7 bucks), as well as life mottos that helped her find career success. Check ’em out in the article below and let us know in the comments what your favorite workplace tips are.

This is really inspiring since I’m in the early stages of developing my business. Between this and A Beautiful Mess’ article on their business this week, it’s been an encouraging few days for anyone with entrepreneurial aspirations.
