Ahh, remember the simple days when all that you needed for a happy Valentine’s Day were a few pieces of red construction paper, scissors, and some Elmer’s Glue?
But since we were kids, the definition of “handmade” has changed; we can be just as creative on our computers as we can with a pair of scissors and a drawer-full of craft supplies. So, in honor of the crafty Valentines Day tradition of our youth, we’re asking you to once again design your own valentine and send them to us! Get creative; you can use Polyvore, your own computer’s software, or even make it the old-fashioned way (by hand) and scan it. If possible, you can leave your submissions in the comments of this post or you can send them to firstname.lastname@example.org. (If we could, we would design our inbox with little ribbons and buttons and bows to await your Valentines.)
Two of our favorites will be selected to be part of our “Send a Valentine” feature on our Valentine’s Gift Guide, and they will be available to send as E-cards in addition to the ones that we’ve created! The two winners will also receive a $50 ModCloth gift certificate!
The deadline is this Thursday, January 29th at midnight EST and the winner will be announced Monday. Have fun and good luck!
