The Style Gallery is a great new way for you to view, love, and share outfit photos. It’s meant to showcase all the expressive, creative, and inspirational personalities of our community!
Today marks one year since our first Blogger of the Moment feature! Featuring fashion bloggers is incredibly important to us at ModCloth. When Susan started ModCloth eight years ago in her college dorm room, she had no experience in the fashion industry. And yet, without being a “fashion insider,” she’s built ModCloth to what it is today. The goal of the ModCloth team continues to be to democratize the fashion industry by supporting independent designers and creating programs like Be the Buyer that give customers a voice. Bloggers are such an important piece of this because, like Susan, they’re carving their own place in the style community, proving that great style doesn’t always have to come from the top down!
This is an exciting time for bloggers, and we’re so happy to be a part of it! Besides Blogger of the Moment, we’ve run contests on Chictopia, sponsored the Independent Fashion Bloggers‘ conference during NY Fashion Week, featured bloggers in our Seen Style posts, and support some of our favorite blogs through sponsorship.
Thanks to each and every one of you fashion bloggers out there! It’s been so amazing seeing everyone evolve and grow over the past year.

blogger of the moment
aww happy blogger of the moment anniversary then! I’m a little envious of them all!! They are great. it’s been nice learning about new bloggers and seeing amazing ones I do follow. I love the interviews you give.
Yay, Blogger of the Moment! This fun feature has given me hours of reading material:) I love learning about fresh and exciting blogs!
Congrats on making so many lovely ladies blogger of the moment!
As for an Idea: I would love love to see these ladies of blogland featured in the next stylebook. What a better way to introduce the clothing to your target market than through the girls that we have come to know and love! Think about it. Could be an amazing meetup / photo session…
Happy Anniversary! It’s such a wonderful feature! Thank you for supporting so many fashion bloggers!!
thanks to Modcoth for supporting and spotlighting us bloggers. i am always inspired by the darling dresses!
I love Morgans idea! of having a blogger meet up and having these fabulous girls featured in the new look book!! happy anniversary!!
Its a dream of mine to one day be featured by Modcloth. 🙂
Some great looks there i can see Frassy,Calivintage and Honeybunny in there all great stylish ladies.
And whats more great is that they are inspiring to your every day normal girl out there.
I really like Morgan’s idea too!!
Blogger of the Moment is probably my favorite category of the ModCloth blog. Not only do I get to discover new fashion bloggers, but I also love the idea of naming a dress after each of the bloggers. Too cute!
hi.. i am a huge fan of these bloggers, maybe they will accomplish the requirements to become next “blogger of the moment”
happy anniversary! this was a brilliant idea from the get-go.
i think it would be cool to have a few floating dresses outside of the ‘delightfully tacky’ group. of course i think elizabeth’s idea is genius, but it would be cool to get the rest of the blog world involved. the rules could be something like style the dress then ship it to a blogger you like. after they style it they ship it on to the next blogger. no restrictions to who can get their hands on an item, and there would constantly be Modcloth dresses floating around. Bloggers seem to be getting frustrated with the cliquey-ness of who receives free items, so i think it would be great to get EVERYONE involved. 🙂
just a thought.
Wow, almost no diversity in that group of bloggers. They all look the same.
I like Starr Crow’s comment about getting more everyday bloggers around. The bloggers who have been featured are definitely great! But I feel that they have been feautured so much in myriad places when there are also tons of “underground” bloggers who haven’t had their shining moment and Modcloth could be a great place for those bloggers to finally be discovered. 🙂
