We sent the basic Weardrobe Dress to all the amazing bloggers who attended the Weardrobe Conference. They all styled the dress in their own unique way – from dressing it down to dressing it up, to cutting off the hem to tying another dress around their waist – each look was unique and fabulous in its own right.

Krytsal of This Time Tomorrow even wrote up a little piece about this wardrobe essential. Check out her Weardrobe article here.

Read on to see how the rest of the girls reworked the little black Weardrobe Dress.

About Turi

When Turi isn’t blogging, you can find her nose behind a book. But reading isn’t her only pastime. She loves running (cue jogging stroller), taste-testing pizza and burgers, and working on the next great American novel. Her latest homage to all things literary? Her son is named after writer Dashiell Hammett. How apropos.

I absolutely LOVE how the 3rd person of the second and third group put their Wardrobe Dress together!

2nd row: This woman has a beautiful figure and face to pull off the lovely slim fitted dress with a loose white coat over top of it. And with her hair up and the dramatic make-up, it’s fantastic in every way!

    3rd row:
That would be a fabulous outfit for anything! Any kind of party, work, church(if you don’t think that wearing black to such occasion is a sin), or if you’re just having a good morning and feel like showing yourself off that day! Fabulous work darling!

I love how Erin–calivintage (second row, 1st lady) & Keiko–keikolynn (second row, 3rd lady) styled their dresses. Their blogs are among my favorites to follow. I love how they kept the dress but added beautiful jackets and tights to make it more versatile, plus who doesn’t love b&w ensembles!
