The Style Gallery is a great new way for you to view, love, and share outfit photos. It’s meant to showcase all the expressive, creative, and inspirational personalities of our community!
As we all know, New Year’s is a time for reflection and resolutions. So, to celebrate the end of 2010, we asked ModCloth employees the eternal question: “What did you learn this year?”
Now that you’ve watched us spill our guts, dish! What did you learn in 2010?
Behind the Scenes, ModEmployees, ModOffice, new years, video, work culture
i learned that this is by far my favorite store/website and that i am NOT pregnant
the site really needs to a) allow search by size and b)
include the size info in a way that lets shopstyle.com filter by
size. the stock turnover is really fast and it’s really exhausting
to find the three items in stock in xl.
Thanks for your feedback, m!
This year I have learnt that if I really want something I can achieve it.
A year ago I decided I wanted to be a fashion journalist and this year I have worked hard on my blog, written for as many websites as I could, scored a great internship for the summer and worked hard.
I feel so inspired that I can do things if I put my mind to them!!
This year, I have learned that fashon and music are two of my passions. Also, I have learned that I am a really bad dancer. And a really bad speller.
This year I turned 35and I learned that my body aint what it used to be and that each year I will struggle with this but of course, not dwell on it! Thanks for the great reads and clothes mod cloth!
I have learnt in 2010 that
1) Jake who was in my class has reallly soft cheeks
2) friends means the world to me that i would cry about them * i was in year 6 in 2010
3) You can achieve anything 😀
Emily, I totally agree!
i learned that getting a wisdom tooth pulled out is alot sorer than i thought and that blogging has become an addiction not just a hobby. love the colour video on the home page!!! 🙂 xo
happy new yr modcloth!!!
I like Turtles! Bwa ha ha ha!
That I love this website! That I love that I died the brown in my hair (which used to be all blonde:( ) red and left my natural blonde natural it’s nice being a red head and a blonde a little of the old and a little new! I got my braces removed I only had to wear them for 11 months! I love having nice straight teeth! I love vintage clothes!
I learned that I shouldn’t be so trusting, and that I love vintage!
I resolute to eat better and excercise-so I can get into the medium my aunt got me from here!
I’ve learned that this website rocks, and that I love it and the clothes I’ve bought from it, and that, statistically, I visit this site more than any other. However, I really hate the frumpy direction the clothes are heading. The prints lately have been awful, and I miss the beautiful structured dresses from last year (oh, Un-Twill we meet again dress, how do you keep ending up on me, no matter whether I’m going to class, work, drinks or a Christmas party?). Don’t loose your unique, retro feel and your sensibility for providing classic looks with a modern twist. And, of course, bring back the measurements (though the “runs large in the bust”, for example, is a start). Thanks for a great year full of great blogging and great clothes.
Wise words, Erin. I totally agree. And I visit ModCloth pretty much daily. I’m addicted. 🙂
This year I learned that: the guy for me had been right in front of me for three years (luckily he’s super patient), I love making music more than I ever could’ve guessed, and what it means to go waterfalling.
It was a great year 🙂
I learned that good style doesn’t have to always fit perfectly, or be elegant, or take a lot of effort.
This year I learned that I really have to pursue what I like and can do- study English Creative writing and as brand new fashion blogger can meet people who are as passionate about fashion as I am.
