A Studio Visit with Indie Designer Family Affairs

While attending shows and presentations during New York Fashion Week, we took a quick break to catch up with Nina, one part of the mother-daughter duo behind Family Affairs. She invited us in to her Brooklyn studio to preview a few looks from her upcoming Spring 2013 collection filled with whimsical, hand-illustrated and silkscreened prints on breezy white cotton, and silk frocks inspired by dreamy films of the 1970s and imaginary Swedish summers.
