Our ModEmployees are Feeling Festive & Nostalgic

Nostalgic Holiday PhotosYou know that warm fuzzy feeling when you wake up on Christmas morning? Well we’re getting a full blown case of the festive feels in the office. We asked our employees to dig up holiday photos of yore and we recreated throwback looks in honor of their old-school style. To get in the spirit of the season, we asked each employee their favorite holiday memory. So without further ado, here are three outfits we’re feeling holly-jolly about.

Aire’s Look
Vintage Holiday Outfit

In this outfit: Pepaloves Season of Symbols Seater; Karaoke Songstress Jeans; Counter Me in Vegan Block Heel Bootie; and Sugar Plum Perfect Ornament.

Aire, Associate Manager Fashion Media & Public Relations: “I have so many wonderful memories from Christmas time! Christmas Eve is a very special day for my family. We have a traditional Slovak meal and always attend midnight mass. But one of the memories that stands out to me the most is this magical trip my parents took my sister and me on to NYC when I was 10 years old! I purchased my first pair of Doc Martens and remember being blown away by the amazingness that is NYC at Christmastime.”

Samantha’s LookVintage Holiday Outfit

In this outfit: Quirky Glasses Pullover Sweater; Living the Dream Skirt; Wet Your Whiskers Mug; and Chelsea Crew Strappy Tappin’ Mary Jane Heel.

Samantha, Assistant Shift Lead, Customer Care: “I grew up in central Wisconsin with my parents and three older brothers. Most of my favorite childhood holiday memories involve my brothers. They were moments I took for granted at the time, like when my family would go to a tree farm for our Christmas tree. We would bundle up, and walk around in the snow looking for the perfect one. It involved one or two of my brothers pushing me into deep snow, or picking on me. Now that we are all older and don’t see each other as much as we would like, I miss those times.”

Anna’s LookVintage Holiday Outfit

In this outfit: Collectif Cottage Cocktails Long Sleeve Dress; Preferred Verve Mary Jane Sliver Wedge in Black; Just You and Eyelet Socks; and Right at Gnome Oven Mitt.

Anna, Customer Care Advocate: “My favorite holiday memory is getting together on Christmas Eve with my mom’s family, and on Christmas Day with my dad’s and spending time with everyone.”

About Turi

When Turi isn’t blogging, you can find her nose behind a book. But reading isn’t her only pastime. She loves running (cue jogging stroller), taste-testing pizza and burgers, and working on the next great American novel. Her latest homage to all things literary? Her son is named after writer Dashiell Hammett. How apropos.

Hey, Sara! We couldn’t make the image itself a link, but we do have each product link listed right below it. Hope that helps!

This is perfect! I’ll need to scour my family photos over the break to see what I can come up with. Great challenge 🙂
