Earlier this month, we posted a poll about leggings to find out what you think is the top purpose for these bottoms. Were they best for working out, working from home, or werkin’ it? Well, you voted, and we noted! “Working from Home” was the top choice, winning by nearly 50%. So, we asked our Senior Visual Merchandise Stylist, Leigh, to put together some inspiring ideas on how to be casual and look cool while you’re on the clock (and on the couch).

Here are Leigh’s tips on how to rock leggings like it’s your business:

Styling Tip #1

The look: City Adventure Leggings in Amethyst, Sunday Morning Maven Top in Cloud, Thankfully Tranquil Vest, Sashay Bootie in Caramel.

Leigh says, “Throw a printed vest on over a knit top to go from ‘work-from-couch’ to ‘Skype-meeting-ready’ in a flash!”

Styling Tip #2

The look: Stuck in the Riddle With You Leggings, Sports Rapport Top in Olive, When the Going Gets Fluffy Slipper, Third Chime’s the Charm Necklace.

Leigh says, “Not leaving the house? Why bother with shoes? Pair knit leggings with fuzzy slippers for ultimate comfort. Don’t worry, we won’t tell your boss! ;)”

Styling Tip #3

The look: Fresh Take Leggings in Blue Universe, Best Buzz Forever Tee, You Praise a Good Point Slip On Sneaker, Chill You Be Mine Cardigan in Charcoal, Cute for the Stars Socks.

Leigh says, “Put on your favorite printed leggings, graphic tee, and snuggly sweater.  Today is for lounging — you’ve earned it!  If you need to, slip on some sneakers for a quick trip to the coffee shop.”

About Cindy

Pun intended. Cindy loves dreaming up witty quips and groan-worthy wordplay. In fact, you could say this girl just wants to have puns. As an avid fan of the written word and a librarian at heart, she also loves used bookstores, especially ones that harbor cats. A lover of all things old, she takes every opportunity to nerd out on nostalgia.
