At Tennessee’s Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, temperatures soared to the mid-90s before the clock struck 10 a.m. As you can see in the background of this photo, most Bonnaroo attendees beat the heat by showing some skin – sleeveless tops, bare chests, and skimpy shorts ruled the 700-acre farm at which Bonnaroo took place.
With my own bare shoulders and knees exposed, I was pleasantly surprised to see the young lady above sporting a breezy button-up. Despite the heat, this fresh faced young woman looked perfectly chic and comfortable in her pale blue button-up and strapless lilac summer dress. Rolled up sleeves and a loose, oversized fit made her traditional oxford an ideal layering piece. Later on in the day, when the sun finally set, I’m sure she remained effortlessly stylish and temperate, thanks to the cotton blouse at her back. I also adored her choice of accessories. The purple sandals at her feet perfectly complemented her pastel frock, while the icy blue specs and vintage kelly green bag added a few pleasing pops of color.
What do you think of this trendsetting gal’s fashion? Would you sport sleeves on the hottest of summer days?
