Megan, a true southern belle, was one of the first stylish young ladies I spotted during my Bonnaroo adventure. The Tennessee native knew what four days in humid, never-ending heat would entail, so she dressed the part in a super cute, chambray romper, with sleek aviator shades, a dependable patchwork messenger bag, and rugged cowboy boots, ideal for trekking all over Bonnaroo’s massive farm territory.
Megan’s picture perfect look was matched in sweetness by her friendly demeanor. With no less than eight Bonnaroo festivals under her belt, she confidently assured me that I would have a great time, and she was right!
Rompers were everywhere at Bonnaroo, which begs me to ask the question: Would you rock a romper at a camping-based music festival?
A romper sounds ideal for a music festivel!
I’m a big supporter of cowboy boots!
I use them for my animal rescue, out on my brother’s farm I have dog runs. I figured since Bonnaroo is so nasty & dirty to walk around in that they would be perfect for navigating the terrain. Thanks! 🙂
I wouldn’t have thought to pair my denim romper with cowboy boots because I’d be afraid it would look kinda skanky. But I’m glad to see it doesn’t!
I contemplated the romper for Bonnaroo this year, but then thought about the Port-a-johns and figured dresses and shorts were the safer bet!
romper is cute, but cowboy boots will NEVER be in, in my opinion. maybe they’re fine for stomping through Bonaroo mud, but that doesn’t make them fashionable to me…lol Let’s face it, if Clint Eastwood regularly wore it, it’s probably not cute.
I’ve been to Bonnaroo 6 times and I’ve been to many other music festivals. In the spring, I wore a romper to one day of Wannee Festival in Liveoak, FL. It was not much fun. When you have to use port-o=potties, having to pull your whole outfit off to pee isn’t fun. So, as much as I love and support the wear of rompers. I won’t be wearing one at a music festival again.. Concerts are a different story though. She seemed to have it down though… Maybe she had a friend w/ an RV 🙂
I love cowboy boots. that romper, on the other hand, reminds me of preschool (more so than usual, even, and most rompers do)
