“Looks like we’re gonna have to make a cameo at the Val party.”

Oh, Cher.

Your credit card is unlimited. Retail therapy seems to be your go-to solution for nearly every possible quandary. Rodeo Drive? It’s a short distance from your Beverly Hills mansion, and the infamous LA shopping hot spot is a fun destination to cruise to in your pearly white, open-air Jeep Wrangler.

Okay, so you’re probably going, “Is this like a Noxzema commercial or what?”

For today’s Style Inspiration, I thought I’d shine the spotlight on my favorite cinematic character of all time, Miss Cher Horowitz, of Clueless. Many of us lack the aforementioned resources necessary to cultivate a life as glamorous as Cher’s, but when it comes to holiday styling, we can all take a cue from her innovative chicness.

For a last minute trip to a Christmas party in the Valley, Cher went with what she knew best: a sleeveless, form-fitting red cocktail dress (“it’s like a totally important designer”), simple pearl earrings, red satin shoes (not the best choice for a party, as the slightest spill of alcohol is “so not fixable”), classic red lips, an easygoing swept up bun hairdo, and a statement-making, black and red brocade jacket embellished by a ton of fabulous feathers.

Needless to say, I’m a big fan of Cher’s glamorous guise. I love the simplicity of her dress and make-up matched with an extravagant, attention-grabbing piece of outerwear. The combination of her frock’s flawless sophistication with the youthful, over-the-top jacket is great for a holiday soiree when you want to stand out while maintaining an air of ravishing beauty.

To create an equally brilliant ensemble, I’d recommend starting with either The Delphos Dress or the Night at the Opera Dress. Add the Gold Lion Earrings, the Genius of Love Heels in Gold, and the Battalion Jacket in Ivory or Black! Finally, add a splash of prettiness to your pucker with the Lipstick in Retrofuturist, and you’ll be ready for a night of rollin’ with the homies!

Clueless has some of THE BEST 90’s fashion. It’s classic!

“She could be a FARMER in those clothes!”

I love this movie, though my favorite part reguarding fashion is their excessive use of 90’s plaid.

I heart this movie so much and have since it came out when I was 11 (and totally didn’t get half the jokes). I still say ‘She could be a Farmer in those clothes’ and ‘I totally paused’ all the time!

I LOVE Clueless, it is seriously one of my favorite movies. It’s kind of sad how much of it I can quote…
