“Sometimes you can still catch me dancing in it.”

It’s hard for me to think about Edward Scissorhands without getting a little choked up. Each and every time I watch Tim Burton’s iconic film, I fall in love with Edward’s innocence and gentle demeanor, Peg’s unconditional kindness, and Kim’s remarkable style.

Like Cher Horowitz, Kim Boggs is a blonde beauty. A Californian teenager graced with loveliness, brains, and a great sense of style. During the day, Kim usually rocks an outfit of coordinated cuteness – flawlessly matching her salmon pink socks and to her tiered jumper, with a crisp white button-up and a pair of perfectly broken in sneakers.

For her family’s Christmas party, Kim kept it simple (and striking). Her choice of an off-the-shoulder, pearly white, button-embellished dress is downright enchanting. Matched with a tiny gold necklace, demure heels, and the top half of her hair pulled back, Kim exuded sophistication with a relatively low-key, effortless ensemble. I love Kim’s classic take on seasonal styling, perfectly executed with a white dress and minimal jewelry.

For a holiday party get-up equal in beauty to Kim’s ethereal elegance, try wearing the Lucky Star Dress in Rock under the Ruf-Full Vest. Cinch in your waist with The White Straps Belt, then add the Vegas Odds Heels and the Cute to the Bone Necklace for a white and gold ensemble that would melt the heart of any recluse.

I too love this film. The fashions and the whole outlook of everything is beautiful! In watching it as a kid it had taught me to accept people for who they are because they are all beautiful!
