I’m all for wide-legged pant. In fact, I’ve a pair myself. And, I really like the length on the top two photos; those pants look great.
I am loving the tight around the thigh and hip, widen at the knee. In the UK they are commonly called kick flairs, but they are difficult to find at good prices around here. The US has been taken over by skinny jeans, so that is what takes over the racks in many affordable (“now” trend) stores. I hope that Modcloth would consider giving some affordable options in this type of fit soon! (Hint, hint, too much?)
I wish I was tall enough to pull off this look.
Love flared jeans. I am ready for the skinnys to head back into the vault.
i wish i was THAT skinny to put on those jeans…
My favorites are the first two photos and the last photo!
I love flares so much that I started wearing them in middle school and never stopped. (I’m 22 now.) They just have this air of comfort about them. It just sucks when it rains. And in Pittsburgh, rain’s pretty much a given. ^.^
I love the wide-leg high waste jeans look especially cause I am tall and it plays up my legs but haven’t found a good pair. Do you recommend any brands that you like?
I love, love, love this look and I have for years!
Love it, love it, love it. Unfortunately like the little tea pot, I’m short and stout. I cannot pull off tall flared jeans:(
Worn flares all my life….I’m glad i’ve kept them!! I’m 4’8″ and I’ve found they make me look taller and thinner..even if your short and you think you can’t pull them off i bet with the right boots you can.
I concur. 🙂
I am STILL searching for that perfect pair! These are all wonderful.
OH Yesss… Love flaired jeans and already worn mine here: http://gypsy-diaries.blogspot.com/2011/03/that-70s-show.html
My high-waistedness is finally an asset with these pants. Now, unfortunately due to ankle surgery I can’t wear heels for a long while. Do these pants look stupid with flats?
my sister has a pair of dark wash flared jeans. She manages the family business and they are very versatile. She can make them look professional for a day at the desk, or casual chic for relaxing.
Soooo excited to see flares back in. I haven’t had any in forever, but have been looking for the last year at the thrift stores wondering if I could snag a pair! I will def have to give in and just pay full price for this great must have item!
Fiiiinally! I love flares!
these people look good, but… I don’t like this seventies thing happening! some of the stuff is cute, and I know fashion is cyclical, but… ugh. not loving it.
Love flares. Can’t find the perfect ones for me 🙁 Suggestions…
hn maybe if i wasnt 5 feet and weighed 90 pounds i could wear flares and look semi decent in them.
Highwaisted jeans are the definition of awesomeness. 😉
