Style, Independent

Want to look festive for the Fourth of July, but not kitschy? Chictopian MarieMarieMarie has done it right, combining the holiday’s colors in just the right amounts. Her thrifted black and white top layered over the vivid blue maxi can be worn any day, but the red beaded necklace adds just a smidgen of Independence Day excitement.

The look is functional as well as cute, too. If you can’t wear sunglasses, add a cute hat like hers to keep the sun out of your eyes. The maxi’s length is perfect for sitting comfortably in the grass and for keeping legs warm if the temp drops during the night’s fireworks display, an idea I might take her up on, myself.

All in all, I’d say she’s got the right to style, liberty, and the pursuit of fabulous-ness. How will you be styling this Fourth?
