To combat the sweltering Tennessee heat at Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, this stylish young woman added a dreamy orange parasol to her retro-inspired ensemble. When paired with sleek wayfarers, a printed vintage frock (it’s hard to see in the photo above, but her dress had the most amazing tropical bird print), and painted toenails, this lady’s trendsetting parasol accentuated her practical and stylish look. This cool canopy was one of many spotted at Bonnaroo – I think it’s safe to say everyone should party with a parasol!
When the mercury rises, how do you stay both cool and chic?
Great catch, Annie! The parasol makes this outfit so much fun!
I neeeeeed a parasol!!! I like her romper, too…. I thrifted a good one today!
it IS the perfect parasol!!!! love.
Definitely could have used one of those there! I want to know how she looks so clean and comfortable – it was 95+ and super sunny every day. I’m impressed – tres chic! Also – where is the parasol from because I’m getting one next year lol.
i bought a lilac hand fan on a recent trip and it’s been really useful for the east coast heat wave, not to mention really cute! 🙂
I love parasols. I have two that are bamboo & paper and one Victorian lacy parasol. They are beautiful AND protect my fair skin from getting more freckled.
This is fantastic! Living in the South in the Summer can be brutal. Breezy sundresses and rompers are a must. And if your hair is long, like mine, then learn how to braid it and appreciate top knots!
OH MY GOSH YESSS!!! someone needs to bring the parasols back!!! to me they are so totally awesome. I love the one in marry poppins that she uses when they jump into the painting. 🙂 lace parasols are a must bring back item.
