If you don’t already follow the blog Fashion Forestry, I suggest starting now! It has become a constant source of inspiration and joy for me over the last few months – I just can’t get enough of her unique point of view. Not only do I love looking at her outfits, but she shares her own inspirations, which in turn inspires me to think about fashion in a whole new way. Take this outfit, for example… who else could pull off a dress from the late ’20s with a hat from the ’60s and make it look so perfect and effortless?
What inspires you when you’re getting dressed every morning? Blogs, magazines, street style, something else?
the blog-girl i’m mildy obsessed with, hannah metz (http://hannahandlandon.blogspot.com/), posted a really great interview with nicole of fashion forestry a couple weeks ago. they both know their vintage!
dude, i am so in love with her blog! she seriously has the most amazing vintage finds of anyone i have seen!
I love her blog! She so refreshing.
I got inspiration from: The Amish:florals and collars,cartoons,bloggers,Polyvore,thrift stores,Fred Flare,old movie stars,ModCloth of course,films,Regina Spektor,Bjork,books.
see – and i just don’t get it at all. maybe it’s me………maybe.
Jess: I love that blog too! It’s always a great source for visual inspiration.
Pam: The Amish & Regina Spektor are such a great combination 🙂
Katie: That’s what makes fashion so interesting, we all have different tastes!
