Oh, the doldrums of wintry weather! It’s all of a toasty twenty-two degrees today in Pittsburgh. The sky is grey. The streets are grey. Everything is starting to fade to a shade of grey. But, instead of blending in with my dismal surroundings, I like to perk things up with a little color therapy!
My gorgeous model, Mandy Fierens, a Product Launch Assistant here at the ModOffice (whom you may also recognize from Wednesday’s “Size of the Times: Part II”), does a stellar job of standing out against a two-tone background. Her foundation frock is the Life in Mono Dress, which provides a bold black and white canvas upon which you can paint with any and every cute color! Mandy chose the Tights for Every Occasion in Wine Tasting for a splash of deep berry that chicly contrasts against the sweet green Clover Jacket. To tie together the these haute hues, she wrapped the It’s a Crewel, Crewel Scarf around her collar, tantalizingly tied the Born to Be Wild Boots on her fashionable feet, and then swung the Star of the Rodeo Bag over her sassy shoulder.

Such a cute outfit! I’m especially loving the tights and jacket.
I don’t have a style weapon that beats the cold, I just drink loads of tea. Green and chamomile is excellent!
I looove playing with colorful accessories over black and white basics! Mandy looks amazing 🙂
very cute outfit! i love the scarf! like katie said i love playing with colorful accessories. i love wearing white, navy, or blacks and pairing them with bold and bright colored scarfs and/or jackets.
My way to beat the winter greys is scarves. I only own scarves in bright colors so I can add a pop of color to any outfit. They also help beat the cold.
super cute background!!! love it!
I love it, but I’m a black and grey kind of gal. I haven’t quite figured out how to break out with color. Of course, Indiana isn’t quite up on fashion trends until they’re over.
