What Should I Wear to Friday Night’s Game?

Football season is in full swing, and whether you’re a die-hard college football fan, or a supporter of your hometown’s high school team, chances are you’ll spend at least one Friday night on the bleachers.

An autumn evening under the bright stadium lights is a prime time to show off your favorite fall fashions. Above all else, it’s important to dress smart (layers, layers, and more layers – you never know how cold it may get) and have fun with accessories (games are a great place to debut a vibrant hat or scarf in your team’s colors!).

To kick off this Friday, we asked some of our spirited employees to style game day ensembles inspired by their alma maters’ colors!

Show off your school spirit with the On a Friendly Shore Top, Hawk Ride Coat, The Straight and Narrow Jeans, Crossing the Missouri Heel, Ca Beret in Liza, The Building Blocks of a Great Scarf, Having a Wild Time Watch, and the Shakespearean Earrings!

Hoot, hoot, hooray! For a comfy, cozy look, flock toward the A Bird To The Wise NecklaceTeam Mod Mini DressFirst Snow of the Season CoatChocolate Icing Piping Belt, and the Praha Boot!

Score a statement-making touchdown with the Golden Opportunity Sweater, Bow-dana Headband, bold A-red of the Times Jacket, Gold Lion Earrings, Cheap Monday Window Ciel Jeans (in 32″ or 34″!), Gym Class Heroine Shoe in First Period, and Serve Chilled Wrist Warmers in Snowy Side Up. Don’t forget to bring your Awesome Breakout Mug filled with hot chocolate or coffee!

Go U! Reach for victory with bold items such as the Fisherman’s Wharf JacketOne Hat WonderCouldn’t Flask for More in SquidShe’s a Dainty Dame TopWindow Ciel JeansUnde-feet-ed Boot, and the Strike Twice Ring!

Go straight from the library to the field with the Just Wing It Top, Do You Really Want to Skirt Me in Stripe, Ca-Beret in Barbara, Rad Retro Handbag in Dove, Raise the Bar Socks, Blackberry Bouquet Cardigan, and Over the Embroider-line Boot!

Who says you have to wear a university hoodie into the stadium? Support your team with the Literary Arts Dress, The Bates Coat in Black Plaid, Hours at the Library Heel, Lots of Glove for You in Red, Expert Satchel, and the Marjariasana Earrings.

What would you wear on game night?

Praha boots= love. I’m not a huge football fan, but I’m sure a huge fan of these ensembles!

If only we could choose schools based on their colors! Thankfully, my husband attended a purple school, so I would go cheer on his team in that adorable ensemble!

i’m a gator fan, and combining orange and blue in a non-pukey way is beyond me. i always fall back on team jerseys and jeans and hope cute boots are enough!

These outfits were inspirational! Though I love fashion, I go all out to my highschool’s football games. 😀 I wish these outfits were on a model though, it’d make them easier to put everything together.

these are all so cute! Unfortunatly, my school colors are maroon and baby blue. I have no idea who picked that out, but I hate them. xD

…I’ve been to a football game once, and spent about an hour picking out an outfit. I scored this really cool vintage baseball jacket with my school’s name on it thrifting once, so that was the backbone of the outfit. But gosh, a football game has to be the least stylish place ever 😛

I like to refer to college football as “a fun-filled day of screaming and swearing for the whole family”. I love the idea of adding one bright or wacky accessory. Makes the whole ordeal easier to bear!

    Excellent idea!

Me, I usually end up in a hideous green marching band uniform 😛
