How to Find the Perfect Sunglasses for Your Face Shape

A great pair of sunglasses will always remain one of our favorite accessories for spring and summer. While we should be protecting our peepers from the sun year-round, as the weather warms and the days get brighter a sweet pair of shades is the perfect way to refresh your wardrobe.

But how to choose the right pair? While we believe you should always wear what makes you feel the most fabulous, if you’re stumped on what frames will work best for your face shape, we’ve got you covered. Check out our recs, below:

Round: If you boast round, full cheeks, and a smaller forehead and chin, a pair of rectangular frames — like the Quite the Looker Sunglasses in Tortoise — will contrast beautifully with your features.

Oval: If your forehead, cheekbones, and jawline are all equally balanced, almost anything will work well — lucky you! Try a pair of oversize or round shades — like the The Music Seen Sunglasses — to play up your proportions.

Heart: For ladies with a heart-shaped face — that is, with a wide forehead and a narrow chin and jawline — try a pair of cat-eyes — like the Boardwalk on the Wild Side Sunglasses — to accentuate your high cheekbones.

Square: If you have a strong jawline and broad forehead, you may want to avoid angular shades that mirror your strong profile. Instead, try out a pair of softly rounded aviators, like the Get and A for Aviator Sunglasses.

I love this post! My face is so small and I usually hate the way sunglasses look on me.

Do you plan on stocking asian fit sunglasses at some point? I don’t think that any of these sunglasses will work for my face shape… they will slide down my nose and sit on my cheeks!
