Today’s Special: Flower Drinks

April showers bring May flower drinks! For those of you who are looking for a unique summery thirst quencher, I rounded up some of the web’s best flower-infused beverages. If a little aroma – and added health benefits – is something that entices your taste buds, then add flower power to your happy hour!

Other than looking (and tasting) awesome, the floral infusion of the Hibiscus Flower Margarita is believed to yield healing properties such as alleviating digestive problems, improving circulatory disorders, tempering fevers, and helping to control high blood pressure. If you’re looking to sip something that can soothe nerves, curb anxiety, or relax upper respiratory problems, try making an Elderflower Soda! Arrive at your next BBQ or outdoor picnic with one of these ‘floral arrangements’ and you’ll plant a lasting impression!

When it comes to serving drinks, do you have a signature floral pick?

Mmm! They look delicious! I saw a tv show once about what flowers are safe to eat – but it definitely looks like more fun to drink them!

In high school I would go to Mexico every year and build houses. One year the family we were building for made us Jamaica(ha-my-ee-ka), juice made from Hibiscus flowers. It is probably the greatest thing I’ve ever had!
