Holidays are just around the corner, so we’re thinkin’ it’s safe to assume that a plane, train, or automobile trip is in your near future. (If you’re lucky enough to live in the same city as your extended family, we’re totally jealous.) And, while it’s certainly tempting to roll out of bed and travel in pajamas, you’re way too chic for that.

For style inspiration and handy travel tips, our fabulous ModStylists have rounded up their favorite on-the-go ensembles, just in time for festive trips to Grandma’s house. And, we’re off!

Drive of Your Dreams

Whether you’re packed in the backseat with siblings or driving solo, this lounge-ready look is lovely for lengthy car rides. Our Layer of Love Cardigan provides effortlessly chic temperature control, while our Heed Your Warming Leggings offer flexibility for kickin’ your legs up and relaxing. And, perhaps most importantly of all, have you ever seen a headrest as cute as our Prickle Me This Travel Pillow?!

ModStylist Tip: Wear sneakers for impromptu roadside adventures. Be sure to pack an instant camera and a travel journal to log your trip!

‘Plane’ & Simple

Loafer

Okay. So maybe we’d steer away from celebrity style in airports, because who’s got the patience or pain threshold for stilettos in the baggage terminal? What we do suggest is dressing up a bit for flights. Airport navigation can be stressful and abrasive, so feeling put-together and in control of your look is always a mood-booster!

ModStylist Tip: You can still dress up for a flight while staying comfy and practical. Wear leggings with a tunic-length blouse, and bring a blazer for chilly cabins. Don’t forget our handy Carry On Cocktail Kit to avoid paying an arm and a leg for in-flight beverages! Slip-on loafers make security checks and running for connects way easier.

‘Awe’ Aboard!

Easygoing train rides are even more blissful in an equally fabulous look! With everything you’ll have to juggle while traveling (tickets, wallet, magazines, etc.) a large tote bag will certainly come in handy. Be sure to pack your headphones, too: sometimes even the sound of a train engine isn’t enough to drown out fussy infant passengers.

ModStylist Tip: Bring a shawl that can double as a blanket for a snuggly snooze in cold train car. Don’t forget your laptop for watching movies — most trains have outlets at each seat!
