Your Dress: Traveling Cupcake Truck Dress in Black

Tell us what you love most about this dress.
I love the versatility of the dress. I have worn it to multiple functions, with and without a petticoat, with and without a belt. This changes the look of the dress so I can wear it to anything from a formal event to a simple dinner. I absolutely love the way this dress fits — it is structured enough to keep its shape, while being forgiving.

Where did you wear this dress?
I have since worn it to my birthday (with petticoat) out on the town (no petticoat) and most recently to a Michael Buble concert in Toronto (with petticoat). I receive compliments from all kinds of individuals each time I wear the dress.

How did the dress make you feel?
It makes me feel absolutely glamorous, like a movie star. It has improved my confidence and self-esteem drastically.

Did you buy the Traveling Cupcake Truck Dress for a special occasion/event?
Yes, I purchased it for my commencement ceremony from Fleming College in Peterborough Ontario.

Your look is super adorable, what inspired you?
My “look” was inspired by the ’50s glam pin-up era. I am not a skinny girl, and the ultra-low skinny jeans with belly tops that are in style now just do not “fit” (no pun intended) my personality. I want to highlight my features and look classy while doing so, this has always drawn me to the ’50s. Plus any excuse for me to use my hot rollers is a win!

Anything else you want to tell our community about the Traveling Cupcake Truck Dress?
I would purchase this exact style of dress in EVERY pattern, and highly recommend this to any above average girl out there. The length is very professional and modest, the colours are beautiful, and depending on your own accessories you can easily make this dress your very own. Excellent quality! I would also recommend getting the petticoat so you can have 2 dresses for the price of one. I am so used to having alterations done as my body shape is not the easiest to dress. When I purchased the Traveling Cupcake Dress I was anxious and had my seamstress on speed dial, however when the dress came it fit — it REALLY fit! Never have I ever put on a dress that looked and felt like it was made for me.

She’s so cute! I have the dress in pink, but I’ve grown to tall to wear it anymore, unfortunatley. I think I may need to get a new one pretty darn soon.

Cody I think you make the dress look wonderful. You make it look glamorous. It’s not the fabric it’s you. You keep up that beautiful smile I see in the photo. You are just a cutie and I love the red shoes and white petticoat with the dress.
