Page Turners: “Une Femme Est Une Femme” from Lula Issue 19

Magazine scans via Art Department. We just got a copy of the latest issue of Lula Magazine in the office, and we’ve already torn through every single page on the hunt for style inspiration. One editorial that really stands out is a retro-chic editorial titled “Une Femme Est Une Femme” (an homage to one of our favorite French New Wave films, perhaps?) photographed by Sofia Sanchez and Mauro Mongiello, and styled by Samuel François. I mean, can we talk about those big bouffants? Loving this too? Get your copy of Lula Issue 16 right here at ModCloth!

I really like the last shot; very dramatic. I would not bat an eye if I saw it in any modern fashion magazine… hm, is retro the new mod?
