Plaid about a Favorite Vintage Shirt!

Who: Melanie, of She’s in Love With the Captain

What: A multi-colored plaid shirt from the 1960s

Where: Bon Marche Thrift Shop, 45 E. Main St., Babylon, NY

How Much: $10!

When I use It: This is a fairly new piece, I’ve only worn it a couple of times. I’m trying to think of new ways to style it, since the bold colors of the shirt make it very memorable!

Shopping Tips: Set aside a good chunk of time to do some serious vintage shopping! Flip through all the racks, pick things out that might-or-might-not work, and then try them all on. That’s how I found this shirt. Not only does it fit like a dream, but it’s probably the best vintage deal I’ll ever come across!

    Such a cute shirt!
The only way I can think to wear it is tucked into a black skirt with some tights and flats!
P.S. Love your Beatles poster! <3
