Smiles Go With Favorite Finds!

Who: Diana, Style Blogger at Smiles Go With Everything, and Librarian

What: Colebrook Coat

Where: Garage sale in my neighborhood

How Much: around $10

When I use It: It doesn’t often get cold enough in Florida for this coat, but whenever the temps dip below 45 degrees, I break out this coat everyday. This coat has a fun story behind it. My boyfriend and I had just started dating, and we were hanging out at his house.  When we were leaving to go somewhere else, we saw a garage sale a few houses away and decided to check it out.  I saw this coat and instantly fell in love, but I was hesitant to buy it, because it doesn’t get cold here that often.  My boyfriend insisted I should get it, and ended up buying it for me.  Three years later, we’re still together (and live in that same house), and I still have this coat.  Every time I wear it, it makes me think about those days when we first got together.

Shopping Tips: Garage sales are all about serendipity.  You never know what you will find – the fun comes in exploring.  Always be prepared with plenty of cash when you go to garage sales, because you never know when you’ll find that perfect item that you weren’t expecting.
