Thrifting Coach

Who: Leigh Trainor of The Lovely Leigh

What: Amazing vintage brown leather Coach purse!

A secret thrift store my mom and I go to in Brandon, Florida. Sorry, can’t give it away, it’s our favorite place!

How Much:
It was $3!

When I Use It:
I usually carry my fanny pack around, but since I bought this purse, I have been using it almost every day! The brown is a great neutral color, and goes with just about everything.

Shopping Tips: Here’s a big tip:  Look at EVERYTHING! Go through every rack, nook, and cranny, and leave nothing untouched! You never know what you’ll find! I went through the two pieces and found a Dior suit, never worn, and snagged it for $5! Thrifting is like treasure hunting for me. Thrift stores always have the one of a kind pieces, but you should always try to incorporate modern pieces with vintage, [because] it gives it a fresh spin on things. Good luck treasure hunting, everyone!

Funny…several weeks ago I found the exact same coach purse for $2.99 at a thrift store AND a vintage velvet Dior skirt. Gotta love Goodwill 🙂

Thanks for the tips! I could use a little more patience while I’m looking through thrift stores. I always love when I find that one thing I love, though. It definitely makes it all worth while!
