What Came First, the Dress or the Skirt?

Who: Jessica Martin of A Day in the Life of One Girl

What: Polka dot skirt-turned-dress!

Where: Goodwill

How Much: $3.75

When I Use It: “A night out on the town!”

Shopping Tips: “Classic patterns like polka dots are fun and simple! They are attractive, but not too distracting. Don’t get discouraged if your vintage items doesn’t have the right style of sleeve or is the wrong length, those minor details can be fixed! One solution would be to find a good seamstress. If you don’t know a friend or relative who would cut you a deal, you can just do what I did and make that skirt into a dress!”
