Weekend Best or Wedding Guest: Our Jewelry Styled Two Ways

While the winter wind whips outside, we can’t help but look ahead in anticipation of the bright spring days to come, and all those special events that are sure to start filling our calendars. This week, to celebrate spring and the launch of our exclusive jewelry collection, we’re showing off just how versatile these baubles can be.

Yesterday, ModEmployee Katie showed off two looks, one perfect for the office, and one for when you’re ready to walk down the aisle. Today we’re back with the second installment of our jewelry styling series; showing off two more drastically different outfits for very different occasions.

Change it up from celebration to celebration by adding and subtracting eye-catching jewelry. Here, the Destined to Dream Necklace and the Delight in the Details Bracelet add sparkle to Katie’s midi-length dress.

20140219-PLJewelry-107Weekend Ready: Whether you’re headed to brunch or a ballgame, the weekend is the perfect opportunity to dress up your basics. Here, a breezy top and classic dark denim is accented by layered necklaces — we used the Luxurious Layers Necklace and Chain of Thought Necklace — and a unique take on a bracelet (I simply wrapped the By The Sea Glass Necklace around Katie’s wrist). A bold, bright clutch adds a pop of color, and patterned boots add just the right amount of texture to complete the look.
