Bananas for Boats!

This art is bananas, literally. Never have I seen bananas looking so shipshape. This art has definite ‘a-peel.’

There are so many good puns I could make about the farcical, yet totally fabulous, banana boats of Dutch artist Jacob Dahlstrup! But, puns aside, these silly sailboats are pretty great. Here’s to hoping this ‘fruitful’ artist makes a few more!

This is amazing, i love it! Hahha, thanks you so much for featuring it 🙂 And, it brings to mind the cabbage pop art done by an artist that I heard about a couple years ago. It was amazing, the intricate details they got from it. I can’t recall the artist’s name (i’m thinking they were korean, tho), but yes, art that technically you can eat, is awesome 🙂

Haha – these are so funny! Do they do something to preserve the bananas?
