Paola Pivi’s Feathered Friends

We just discovered these colorful creature sculptures by Italian artist Paola Pivi and we couldn’t be more charmed. Constructed of foam, plastic, and feathers, these playful bears are arranged to look as if they’re leaping and lounging, evoking a playful air, but come with sometimes quirky, sometimes serious composition titles such as, Don’t Change My Name Please or It’s Not Fair. (If you happen to live in New York, you can visit them all at Galerie Perrotin in New York now through October 26, 2013.)
