A kitchen filled with cookies is our holiday happy place. Whether we’re rolling out a batch of family favorites, trying our hands at a daring new recipe, or quickly frosting some store-bought confections (hey, no judgment!), we love to indulge in this holiday tradition— and we’re betting you do, too!

And so, we cordially invite you to our Pinterest cookie swap extravaganza! Do you have boards and boards of delicious cookie ideas just waiting to be shared? Simply tag your faves with #CookieModster for a chance to see your pin featured in a blog post!

To get you in the #CookieModster spirit, here are some recipes we’re loving this week:

Mini-SnowpeepsPeanut Butter Cut-Outs with Royal Icing, from Sweetopia

Sing it with us —”Frost-ing a snowman…” With their festive scarves and classic peanut butter flavor, these little snowpeople are perfect cookie swap fare. Once you get through your first batch, repurpose the same shape to make adorable penguin cookies!

molasses-cookiesSpicy Molasses Cookies from Seasons & Suppers

They might not be the flashiest cookie on the table, but oh man, are they good! A combination of cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and dark molasses gives these cookies irresistible cold-weather appeal.

Dessert Sushi from The House That Lars Built

Here’s a think-outside-the-tin idea for seriously avant-garde cookie connoisseurs. Imagine showing up to your office cookie swap with a tray of dessert sushi — cookie dough rolled around an ice-cream filling, topped in sprinkles, and served with a side of chocolate sauce for dipping. Your coworkers will be raving about it till next year’s holiday party! (P.S. If you’re nervous about eating raw egg, follow your regular recipe, but swap the eggs for about a 1/4 cup of milk or apple sauce).)
