Claim your reign as ‘queen of festival season’ by topping your head with a crown of fresh flowers. We recently created this abundant bouquet to top off model our Jessie’s pretty powder pink hair, and today we’re sharing the simple steps you can take to create a crown of your own. Great for gals with both long and short hair, we think there’s no better way to celebrate spring and kick of your music festival calendar than with this wearable wreath of fresh wildflowers.
Festival Flower Crown
Fresh flowers & greenery
Using the shears, trim the stems of your flowers to just a few inches long. To determine the amount of wire you’ll need, carefully wrap the wire around your head, being sure to overlap slightly. Once you know the length, cut the wire with your shears and wrap it tightly around itself to create a base for your crown.
Next, begin securing the flowers by selecting a few at a time, and, using your florist’s tape, wrap the stems tightly against the wire.
Continue adding and wrapping the flowers until your wire is completely covered. Enjoy!

Not sure I’ll be going to any festivals, but wearing a flower crown nevertheless! http://therevolutionelle.com/2014/03/08/when-in-doubt-put-a-flower-crown-on-it/
this is so pretty! I love that you use fresh flowers rather than silk and then tied them to the crown with floral tape. I did that too in my blog:
I just hate how most use a wire to tie the flowers onto the crown because I worry about it ending up scratching my head when I wear it!
This blog was… how do I say it? Relevant!! Finally I’ve found something that helped me.
