Help Your Cardi Go Collegiate with This DIY Sweater Project

2, 4, 6, 8, what do we appreciate? Awesome DIY projects, that’s what. For today’s artsy activity, we’re helping a so-so cardigan go varsity. A few shades of felt, some rookie sewing skills, and a little imagination is all you need to make your own old-school-style patch. Throw in a couple craft store letters for an even smarter look (we used an iron-on type on this cotton cardi, but sewing on embroidered letters is fair game if you’ve got a chunkier sweater). Whether you’re in school or out, you’ll be looking classy with your own DIY design at your back.

Ready? Okay!

About Anna

Anna's the kind of don't-take-yourself-too-seriously gal who can spend an evening at Monday Night Raw and then turn around and write about nail designs and glitter with just as much sincere, unadulterated delight. She's a firm believer in cats' ability to see ghosts, the Pittsburgh Pirates, and the fact that if she wishes enough, she'll never have to iron again.
