A few flea market raids into your weekend, and you’ve acquired a solid set of working speakers! The only downside? Their grill cloths are lookin’ a little dingy — what to do, what to do. We’ve whipped up a way easy DIY that will take those beat blasters from ‘blargh’ to ‘bad’ — in the M.J. way.

Muucchh better than a big ugly black speaker!
This is a genius idea!
I must confess, Laura – I saw my friend Cori do it over the holidays, and I had to try it out myself!
My parents had a set of ancient speakers sitting around the house for decades, ended up being used as plant stands like in the picture! Over time, they got some big tears in them and started looking junky. I hope they didn’t get thrown away in the end, now that I see how good they COULD look!
Oh, I didn’t even think about using ones that don’t work anymore as stands – that’s a great option, too! You’ll have to show us when you’re finished.
