We’ve stumbled upon our fair share of complicated DIYs in the past, and while we can definitely appreciate a demanding project, sometimes you just need something easy to satisfy your creative side.

When we’re in need of crafty inspiration, we look to ModCloth and its never-ending supply of adorable accessories and remarkable wares. Browsing the site recently, we saw the This Way To Style Earrings, and knew exactly what our next project would be. While they’re stylish on their own, these cute arrow earrings were the perfect foundation for an even more unique look. Check out our how-to below:

Looped Chain Earrings

This Way To Style Earrings
Metal & jewelry glue
Two 6″ pieces of gold chain

Step 1: Remove the earring backing from the earring post, set aside. Take one length of chain and loop the last link over the earring post and hold in place while you dab glue carefully around it. Allow to dry.

Step 2: Next, add a small dab of glue to the earring backing, being sure not to cover the hole where the post goes through. Carefully affix the opposite end of chain to the backing, and allow to dry.

Step 3: Repeat with the other earring and chain. Allow to dry completely before wearing.
