Exploring the Past with Our First-Ever ModCast

When the opportunity to collaborate with San Francisco’s Legion of Honor marched up and shook our hand, we knew we had to do something special to mark the occasion. Perfect fit? A ModCloth podcast, a.k.a. a ModCast!

We swiftly fell for the museum’s sumptuous exhibition, “The Cult of Beauty: The Victorian Avant-Garde,” which will be showing at the Legion until June 17. Bustling with peacock feathers, Egyptian influences, and Frank Lloyd Wright-like lines, the exhibit bombarded us with surprises. It wasn’t at all the steampunk carnival we’d expected. Want to know what the actual ultramodern Victorians were like? Put on those headphones and tune into the ModCast interview below!
