Ah, s’mores. Is there a dessert as divinely simple and utterly classic as this three-ingredient treat? What recalls childhood memories quite like the moment you place a gooey ‘mallow between chocolate and graham cracker? What a perfectly melty, messy, and marvelous creation. No wonder it has its own holiday.
Naturally, we’re all about celebrating sweetness, and this confection is no exception. No campfire around? We got you. For National S’mores Day, we whipped up s’mores nachos! Yes, nachos. Don’t worry — you won’t find any tortilla chips in this recipe, just those three, quintessential ingredients that make s’mores so simple and delicious.
Check out the easy, and we mean easy, how-to below!
What You’ll Need:
Chocolate chips (12 oz. bag)
Mini marshmallows (16 oz. bag)
Oven-safe baking dish
First things first: Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees. Next, line the bottom of your baking dish with pieces of graham crackers. I used cinnamon graham crackers because, helloooo, extra sweetness.
Layer mini marshmallows and chocolate chips on top of the graham crackers. Repeat steps one and two until you fill your baking dish with layers of deconstructed s’mores. The ‘s’more’ the merrier, am I right?
Pop that bad boy in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes. Or, until your marshmallows are golden brown and your nachos reach optimum gooeyness. Like, so gooey.
Dish out the sweetness and enjoy National S’mores Day with as much glee as kid around a campfire. Happy snacking!
