It’s National Vinyl Record Day, you say? That’s right, and we’re celebrating with a recipe that pairs perfectly with this piece of music mastery. The Old Fashioned: a drink as classic as the vinyl record itself. The slow-sipper, an ideal companion for listening to your favorite records and unwinding from the work week. But, you know, it wouldn’t be us if we didn’t add a little refreshing flair to this cocktail. In this spin on a classic, we’ve added fresh fruit, which is absolutely lovely for these lazy, hazy days of summer.
Tune in to the super-simple how-to below!

Dissolve the sugar at the bottom of the glass with a small splash of water. Add the orange slices and blackberries. Searching for a sweeter, fruitier cocktail? Add an extra teaspoon of sugar and another orange slice! Mmm!
Muddle the ingredients with a back of a wooden spoon, making sure to really press the juice out of the berries and orange slices. While you’re muddling, think about which records you’ll be spinning while you’re sippin’.
Pour a shot (or two) of whiskey into your glass and add the dashes of bitters. Stir to mix. Add ice for a chiller drink.
