The Style Gallery is a great new way for you to view, love, and share outfit photos. It’s meant to showcase all the expressive, creative, and inspirational personalities of our community!
Last week, when us writers were causing a ruckus at a product-naming brainstorm, it came out that Richard, our Marketing Writing Team Lead, is an expert at making handcrafted pudding. He told us that he learned to make pudding from his mom, who learned it from her mom, who, as family lore has it, once entered the “smooth, creamy, rich brown” pudding in the 1954 edition of the once-renown Great American Pudding Cook-off and won a blue ribbon.
After we all laughed over a good many pudding puns (“You’re puddin’ a smile on my face!” “Stop puddin’ your foot in your mouth.”), Jenn, our Einstein of a blog editor, recommended Richard make a how-to video on his ‘perfect pudding.’ Ever the humble guy, it took a lot of convincing to get Richard to cave in, but he eventually agreed to do his first ever cooking post to share his pudding recipe, family secrets and all. Hope you enjoy!
UPDATE: Since you’re no puddin’ head, you probably figured this out already, but… APRIL FOOLS! If we were really going to do a post on making pudding, we’d think a little more outside the box. And yeah… we’d probably refrain from wearing skants too, no matter how good Richard made them look both this year and last.
April Fool's, video
Too cute, I’m loving this, haha.
This guy is sooooo adorable! I love how he looks all hardcore but is really the sweetest person. Goes to show you can NEVER judge a book by it’s cover <3
Next, you should make pancakes to go with that pudding…
I love this video soooooo much, and am sad that I was not in the office to receive a bowl of pudding. I can’t wait for the TV Dinners installment.
Richard, you make so many awesome things. I hope you’ll share your incredible Mexican meatball soup!
Weird. My Grandma had the same secret recipe. Maybe we’re related.
That was adorable and hilarious! I hope he does more videos. I really want to make some pudding now.
“It’s good to have hobbies while making pudidng.” ha ha ha ha ha ha! This is incredible.
I wave goodbye to food as I put it in the refrigerator too!

Wow! Some really good tips in there. Why have I never thought of aerating my pudding? Brilliant!
I think his true expertise is using his smooth, calming voice to narrate his pudding antics 🙂
Haha the skants! Richard man you’ve got one soothing voice, you definitely need to cut a meditation record or something. In the four minutes it took to watch that video, you’ve already lowered my blood pressure to an impressive level
Blue Ribbon. I cry April Fools!
