The cashew paste, could also be stored in a small container to have as an addition to fresh fruits, or brought as a unique dip to a potluck. If you’re looking for the perfect time and place to debut these hors d’Å“uvres, think July 4th!
These sound delicious! Being a Vegan, a watermelon and cashew lover, these are right up my alley!
These were so good! You should make them every day! 🙂
Yummmm this will be the only way I eat watermelon from now on!!! 🙂
When you say soak the cashews for 2 hours, is that just in water?? Just want to make sure I am doing it right!
where would one find agave? i would like to try making this for my fathers day get together
@Stephanie — Yep, soak the cashews in water for two hours. I’ll update the post so it says so correctly! Hope you like em 🙂
@Millia — I should have specified agave nectar. I’d say it can be found at most Food Co-Ops, Natural Markets, as it’s very similar to honey, but yields a low glycemic index. You could always call a store ahead of time to save from a wasted trip! This is the kind I used.
This sounds AMAZING!! I’ll have to try it asap!! 🙂
Oh wow, I need to make these! Such a fun and clever idea.
Ooh! This looks delicious and refreshing. I’m having a party at my house on Saturday and may have to try these out!
The concept of “water, to taste” is making me laugh really hard!
These look like juicy little gems! Love this!
Julie, that looks so tasty, I can’t wait to make them. My mom has that vintage blue/white plate too, it’s one of my favorites.
Those look delicious! Being a vegetarian and avid health nut its very, very hard for me to find tasty delicassies that aren’t one thousand calories. Thanks for the recipe!
