What You Need:

  • 1 lb fresh strawberries
  • 1 pint fresh blueberries
  • 8 ounces of prepared angel food cake (these are usually about 16 ounces, so you can save the rest for later)
  • 1.5 tablespoons vanilla-flavored olive oil (or olive oil with a little vanilla extract)
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • whipped cream
  • plastic mini-skewers
  • plastic shot glasses

Step One

Step Two

DSC_0253Drizzle your vanilla-flavored olive oil and powdered sugar on top of your strawberries and mix well. You can add more or less of both to taste. If you don’t have vanilla-flavored olive oil, add a drop or two of vanilla extract and regular olive oil. Set aside.

Step Three

DSC_0257Chop your angel food cake into tiny, bite-sized pieces. You don’t want them to be too big or else they’ll get stuck in the shot glasses.

Step Five

Step Six
