What better time to break out the blender and mix up a sweet treat than the holidays? If gingerbread cookies, candy-canes, and the same-old cocktails are wearing out their welcome, try something new and make a boozy holiday milkshake! Spiked milkshakes combine two of our favorite things: dessert and fancy drinks!
Last week, we shared our recipe for ‘The Gingerbread House’, and today we’re back with a brand new, equally scrumptious concoction: ‘The Candy Cane’. If you’re a lover of peppermint and chocolate, this one’s for you.
‘The Candy Cane’ Spiked Milkshake
Makes one serving
1 cup chocolate ice cream
1/2 cup vanilla-flavored vodka
1 crushed candy cane
1 whole candy cane, for garnish
1. Scoop a generous portion of ice cream into your blender, we used about 1 cup. Add the vodka and crushed candy cane. Blend on high until combined.
4. Pour into a glass and top with whipped cream and a sprinkling of crushed candy cane. Enjoy!
