The Style Gallery is a great new way for you to view, love, and share outfit photos. It’s meant to showcase all the expressive, creative, and inspirational personalities of our community!

You have to be pretty ballsy to cover Patti Smith, Michael Jackson, and Bob Dylan, and artist Christophe Gowans does so – brilliantly – by taking the concept of musical covers to a whole new level. With The Record Books project, Gowans recasts famous albums as books, transforming Patti Smith’s Horses into a cheery elementary school primer about horses, and Prince’s Purple Rain into an ’80s sci-fi novel.
You can view his entire library on Flickr, or snatch a copy for your bookshelf with his compilation book, The Record Books: Volume 1. Personally, I’m holding out for his soon-to-come postcard packs, which you can request a set of by commenting on his Flickr page!

so cool, super love the alice cooper and prince covers.
Ah! The Man Who Sold the Word, complete with Mr. Bowie’s real name listed as the author! Love the Purple Rain one, too. What a clever idea!
