What’s In Our Founder’s Bag?

Susan, our Founder, is one on-the-go gal! When she’s not jetsetting to London or Paris to select stunning styles for ModCloth, she can often be found spending QT with her precious pug Winston, or sussing out San Francisco eateries on an endless quest for the best breakfast spot.

So, what does a lady with such a busy lifestyle tote around on the daily? Let’s take a look…

To accommodate her fast-paced, multi-tasking MO, Susan needs a tote that’s roomy and versatile. Enter the Everyday Allure Bag. It has plenty of space for her favorite plaid scarf (because you never know what micro-climate you may wander into in San Francisco!), an inspiration-gathering polka dot notebook, and a super-chic pair of Quay sunglasses.

What’s one absolute essential Susan says every busy gal or guy needs? A battery pack! “I always make sure my iPhone is charged, because having access to email is crucial — almost as crucial as Instagram. Almost.”

A chic geometric printed makeup bag is a great multi-purpose tool. It corrals everyday must-haves — like calming essential oil, lipgloss, mints, and an energy-boosting snack bar — but it also doubles as a cute clutch when needed!

Last, but not least, “I always keep a couple sparkly pieces close at hand, especially during the holiday season,” Susan says. “You never know when an impromptu party might pop up, and a statement necklace and pretty bracelet help create a festive look in a flash.”

About Natalie

As the owner of three small, fluffy dogs, Natalie has accepted the fact that dog hair being everywhere and on everything is just part of her lifestyle now. She cannot stop decorating (and redecorating) her home, and lives by Robert Venturi's words, "Less is a bore." Fresh flowers, floral print dresses, and a good gin and tonic are just a few of her favorite things.

What is that apple breakfast bar? I’ve been searching for an apple one ever since I graduated high school that met the quality of the one I used to have access to in high school.
